I was born in the land of women.
Raised by wolves,
Nurtured by mother bears, fierce and strong.
A tiger, stripes a path to their past, and a future they refuse to sacrifice.
Daughter of the single widow,
No, daughter of strong indepenent woman.
Victim of rape,
No, survivor of sexual assault.
Seventeen year-old m.i.l.f.,
No, young, independent, and beautiful single mother.
It's crazy to think…
I'll love you ‘til the last breath in me
And yet I hate that I love you so.
I’ll ride or die ‘til the end of night,
She is only a teenager in a world all alone, Some dude knocked her up and now long gone, After the fact, he knew she was carrying a kid, He hesitated once he found out it was his jit.
A SINGLE MOTHER OF THREE
ONLY ADJUSTING TO THE INCREASING CHANCE TO BE
NOT ACCEPTING OTHERS PLANS FOR ME
UNADJUSTED TO FINER CURRENCY
IT'S NOT ENOUGH FOR ME TO MAKE IT
BUT I CAN NOT DIE
All on her own,
in the toughest of times.
She's the Woman I praise,
for she has conquered great battles.
Single mother ! Alone in this world wondering when your kid will eat! Single mother ! we do our best to keep our kid safe , we surprise them on birthdays and holidays ! Single mother !
When She cries me a river,
I don’t see the Channel Islands.
Nor do I stand on the pier,
And see the violence
Of the blue sea waves.
I see Her life as it is.
