Every morning was the same routine but this year I was certain it  would be different. Waking up to go to school is not the same as it was last year.
The steering wheel's fabric feels warm against the skin of my forehead slick, sweaty. Outside the chill threatens to freeze the ruby lakes of my bloodstream, it rages a war against the heat that has consumed my body.
Someone may ask What uplifts you You may say something obvious Summer, friends, food, family, your significant other But rarely will a person ever answer, life
Am I the movies I watch?Am I the books I read?Am I the classes I take?Am I the feelings I feel?Am I the food I eat or the drinks I drink?Am I the air I breathe?Am I the skin I live in?
