Memorable Medallion
Hail Mary.
Bearing a lily, St. Gabriel does not tarry
With expostulation and adoration
Of the Blessed Virgin.
Let it fly, fly aloneSince it has a formAnd fibres fineMade by hands divineHappy is HeAnd beautiful is itAlways full in dressFinest of all the insectsIs the butterfly!
Mary
There was a statue of the Mother of God
But this statue seemed a little odd
It was not like the other statues I’ve seen
It was a darker colored Mary, standing nice, tall, and clean.
