I thought I knew what love was,
As I’ve fallen once or twice.
But when it ends and starts anew,
My heart always pays the price.
Daggers of sound
Stab the night
Like lovers found
Cheating.
But tonight we live
For it.
Live like living will
Fix the problems,
Even tho it won't.
We dance with the strobes
As I watch the water flow from my hands a glance in the mirror reminds me
that I'm still human & the heart must break to heal.
