Battered, bloodstained, and wearyI collapse onto the ruined groundBack against the grass, eyes to the sunriseWatching peaceful clouds drift across a pink-orange skyPetals in my peripheral, I turn my gaze to see
Shivers, up and down your back Such a gaze makes your mind go slack The bitter cold of catching that one's eye Worse than an outright lie It's just the wind It's not like you have sinned
Often I look up to the Skies Relishing the beauty it holds Adorned at night by twinkling Stars And daily by the fiery Sun The full moon so enthralling The wavy Clouds so gorgeous
Velvet triangles, shiny black buttons and soft pink hands  that grip the underside of my window.   He is peaceful, finally fully unafraid while sleeping while only I watch his steady daytime slumber.
Woke up this morning with  a thought on my mind. How the day will go, will I make school on time? Greeted my family as I wandered the house with ease, showered up, got dressed, it was absolute peace
In my years of experience I never thought I'd cherish the light that rises in that wonderful horizon by the ocean. It calls out as if a new challenge was created simply for me. And I think of the secrets that will remain until the dawn of time.
