Slam on Back to School

It's that time of year again-- time to put away the sunscreen and dust off those textbooks. Yup, we're talking about going back to school. Whether you're super excited to see the friends you missed over the summer, dreading that one teacher you can't stand, or wincing at the thought of getting back to that homework grind (all together now: ughhh...) we want to hear about it.

We've created this slam so you have a space to share your thoughts about the new school year. Are you worried about going to a new school? Already itching with senioritis? Gearing up to ask out the cute someone you always pass in the hallway? Tell us and your fellow PowerPoets about it, and let's work together to make this one the best school year yet.

Don't forget to tag your poem with Slam on Back to School so everyone can see! Check out a tutorial on tagging here.

Sit down. Keep writing. Be silent. Raise your hand. Walk single-file.  Is this a prison sentence, or my education?

Where do you live. Slam poetry by Hannah
Where do I live? I live in a society of love and hatred. A society where one lives to be loved and dies when hated.
