RAWR! My life revolves around music, especially rock/post metal core. Songs are poetry with a melody, which can save us from this cruel world we live in. Honestly, I've lost a lot of hope, and am working to recreate it through poetry. I wish for others to see the impact they have on others. Please leave comments, I'd love to hear your opinions.

We met the other day,
All was fine one could say.
Let's face the truth: it was not.
We were strangers to one another,
Different from what...
It seemed logical at the time.
But now I stare at the scars,
Demonized by those around me.
To them each one is ugly,
To them each one is...
Behind every smile,
You know that there is some sadness.
The sadness that we mask
With forced laughter,
With excuses for the tearing eyes....
Maybe I am going insane.
When I want to break down,
Cry for the stupidest thing.
Cry over the fact that I hate myself,
That I will never be...
When the sun disappears,
As do the smiles and laughs.
The image of the people we know,
Replaced by their melancholy twin.
As night settles...
