RAWR! My life revolves around music, especially rock/post metal core. Songs are poetry with a melody, which can save us from this cruel world we live in. Honestly, I've lost a lot of hope, and am working to recreate it through poetry. I wish for others to see the impact they have on others. Please leave comments, I'd love to hear your opinions.

The dark clouds roll in
with the promise of rain.
And I sit here staring out the window
with tear stained cheeks,
alone in an empty room...
I once would take
to cutting and mark upon my skin.
I know the thoughts haunt me
and run over me in surprise.
But nothing consumes my mind...
I never opened up to someone
afraid of being hurt.
I kept them away with fake smiles
and a simple I'm okay.
I am afraid of people.

A person I barely know,
and has had the courtesy to say "...
