I was in residential treatment for a year because I had depression, chemical dependency, anxiety, ptsd etc. I am healthy and happy now living everyday to the fullest. Some of the poems I posted, I wrote before or while I was in treatment. I am a nursing assistant at a nursing home and I am currently going to college to become a RN. I'm 18 years old and I love to help people. I'm a good listener and if anyone needs anything, I'm here. I have three older brothers, one is in heaven, and a younger sister. My dad and mom are my biggest supports. I don't like to refer to myself as a poet. I love to write but usually don't like sharing it. I found this site by applying for a scholarship and I really hope I get it! I hope you enjoy my poems and god bless :)
