A person’s value?
priceless beyond man’s measure,
Christ’s inheritance.
No one heard my “no!”,
body and spirit ravaged,
my story ignored.
Honor unto death,
preservation of family,
mental stranglehold.
I am good enough,
Asians tell me otherwise,
Can I trust myself?
Self-medication,
a path of escapism,
sanity futile.
