With the press of a button
I light up the screen.
The blank page stares back at me
Where are the words I wish to see?
I reluctantly wait...
Not even the widest eyes can see
Maybe it was meant to be
Drowning in cold misery
So deep down was she
Crying, "Please help me."
But no...
In a house very far away
Lived a girl whose heart was gray
She dismissed her solitude
And challenged it with a bright attitude
Night and...
Destruction everywhere
Far or near
Life is getting harder to bear
Lights are dimming
Darkness is conquering
Blood is seeping
Hear humanity...
