I am a senior in high school and I love cooking. When I was about 12 or 13, I started to write poetry because I liked it. After my 8th grade year I kinda left off on writing it but I've always had an appreciation for it. This year, my english class is a creative writing class and right now we are doing poetry. I'm not that good but I love writing it...Hope you enjoy!
Waiting outside,
inside this cold . . .
not knowing whether
to sit or jump, shivering
excessivley,
Robot-like movements in the cold.
Summers past,
under the blue sky
not long ago . . .
Far away now,
long past
only here for a moment then
whisked away, and
everything...
