How do you credit a human life?
Is it the genes of their parents,
That have created their smile, their laugh, their mind?
Is it the area...
There's a firestorm of doubt held within my heart
And yet those thin walls still beat in rythm,
As if there was never a doubt that it would...
You don't love me
You love the idea of me
You love the flow, the thought
The idiosyncrasies I have developed
You don't love me
You see...
I've seen people who were in between
Five steps from walking out the door
And yet asking for a reason to stay
I've talked them down from...
When you move to a new house
Sometimes it feels like it's all you've ever known
You sit on the couch, surrounded by those four walls
