My name's Kelsi Pope. I'm 17 years old. I love poetry and I've been writing my own poems since I was 8 years old.
I find it quite comical how easy it is for us to hide our feelings
How after awhile the phrase "I'm okay" doesn't seem like a lie anymore...
It's crazy how easily someone can walk out of your life
How they can just leave
Never looking back
Now your future isn't set in stone...
Just like that then?
That easy?
After all we've been through?
We're done, just like that.
Fuck!
I wish it were that easy for me
But no.

'Cause right now the one thing I've done wrong was say "yes" to him
