I'm a 17 year old Spoken Word poet and an active member of my school's Spoken Word Poetry Club. Any small amount of inspiration I get becomes an idea for a new poem. Writing truly helps me discover who I am and releasing my emotions on paper is the greatest. People often look at me and assume that I'm not a poet. In reality we all ask that question, "what does a poet look like?"
