Poems from cheyanimal14
From Wyoming living in Washington. Just graduated High School and now attending University. I grew up on a ranch and in a dinner theatre, I write, read, act, play, sing, and basically anything I'm willing to try.
I
once liked
butterflies, because
you did. I was enchanted,
because I knew I couldn't hold
you. One day you would fly away
and say "Hold me...
I
drip
drop
and
call
you
but
you
don't
hear
me.
You
are
too
far
in
the
depths
of
your
own
mind.
Come
back,
come
back
to
this
poor
cowgirl...
What I would give to be in Wyoming.
Where mountains hug the sky
and the wind whispers stories of yesterday.
Where lakes mirror dusty pine...
What is it about brothers?
I have never seen lovers as inseparable.
Not even close.
There is nothing that compares to
sharing...
My heart feels cold,
like a dirty piece of ice,
fractured
and spreading.
How to stop this
frigid chill
howling throughout
my body.
...
