Poems from bneary
Skin as blue as the sea
Lips thinner than my patience
And gnarled branches, curling fingers
But those eyes,
I've seen God
And sunlight
And...
"You feelin' it yet?
Me either," he said, talking
To a neighbor's dog
Every cloud has
A silver rim, but that does
Not stop the flooding
Wake up in the shining dew
Of the morning blush,
The city yawns its tired hello
With the angry sounds of the rush.
Before joining the ranks...
"Smile more, beautiful"
Excuse me, but why should I
Frowning is my right
