Poems from aygreenwood
We want to be treated like adults
When we still act like kids
Making the same old mistakes
And falling on our faces again
I want to grow up...
I'm on my toes
Ready to speak my mind
And iterate my opinions
But then my mouth becomes conflicted
The words that once flowed unceasingly...
You charge into the fray, armed only with what you know. What you know is the language if your ancestors, passed down through generations...
Dear sir who put his chair back
I'm glad that you are able to relax
But please, give a care to those behind
Who would rather not be left...
I just wish that you would know that I'm not ordinary
I'm anything but that
I've been able to become a more beautiful me
I haven't seen...
