When I’m judged every day evidently
And I come to think my mother was right How could I ever live genuinely
Could I ever be loved for...
Every day is a battle,
every year a war.
I am your son,
your daughter no more.
Please, I beg thee not to cry,
It is not as hard on you...
Normalcy often sought by those
fearful of what they grew up absent of.
