What does it mean to me?
What have I learned?
What has it tried to teach me?
I feel it as it tries to reach me

Ride the wave
The pain will never go away
So keep rolling with this way of seeing
Being that as it is
We are sent to die
For a cause

My tears drop silently
Through the misty air
Nothing can be heard
If we ever cared
What's in it for me
Besides putrid insanity

The horizon doesn't seem too far,
The sun's heat gives me warmth,
Though I am so close,
It doesn't burn
Slowly, all my fears are melting...
When will I see
Fruitions of being happy
What happened to respect exactly
What's intact is that I watch my back
