Distance in joy, near in defeat
Pain throbbing throughout my bones

Constantly trying to fit in and be accepted, different people come in and out of my life but they were skillfully selected
Not by grace but...
staring at these shadows of dreams ,hoping they appear to be exactly what they seem..
I'm caught up in these words spoken from deceptive...
Tension Rising in my heart; fear paralyzing me from the neck down
Frozen numbly; staring intently at my reflection in the mirror
