Poems from Megan McNea
I am a young author. My poetry comes from my experiences and from my heart. I was Born in Denver Colorado and I have grown up in the foster care system till the age of 13. When I was adopted at 13 my life started to turn around.
The dark damp dank dungon
Holds me prisoner to its misery
I am chained to the wall of my past
The pain
The sorrow
I am petrifyed
I don't...
To your voice
My heart flutters
Your Love is unconditional
To me you reach out
My breath you take away
With you, My life has purpose...
Ice on the Mountian tops
Fish in the river
A brook babbles of lost tragidies
Days a gone
Years all wasted
Her song is sad and garbled...
Awake one simple word
A complicated place to be
Awake
You have eyes open and are not up
Awake yet totally alone
In dreams I'm battered and...
Time has passed still pain remains
Its ghostly shadow
Just as sharp as the knife before
My heart once whole
Now lays shattered
A love...
