Poems from May Thunder
A moment frozen
A single glance
An observation made
Of a boy's concentrating face.
Golden hair tousled,
Fingers cupping bangs,
Rosy lips...
She's loved him from afar all her days,
He's loved her the same,
And while they grow ever closer,
They cannot help but feel yearning pain....
Everytime he speaks to her,
He wonders what she'll do,
For her reactions change
As much as the moon.
They're beautiful in every way,
So he...
He's seen her on her brightest days,
And in her darkest hours,
But still she never will believe
That all his thoughts were "ours."
He thought she was beautiful,
He saw light in her eyes,
But she thought all he told
Were nothing but lies.
