Honestly, though poetry is not a subject I tend to visit frequently, I enjoy reading and deciphering the meanings of any poetry in all forms. As a music enthusiast, I find that music with lyrics that have no purpose might as well not of included the lyrics and just sold the instrumental. As an actor, without the many poetic forms involved in theater acting wouldn't have its impact. So in a way, by becoming a poet, I am completing a required skill set needed to be successful in my industry. I am an African-American Male with a heart of gold, a mind of power, and a soul found only in the depths that is the bible. I am an artist. And not just in a sense of art like pictures or paintings, but an artist in the sense of creating things and beings and characters and messages of magnificent magnitude. I live in my mind and soul. Poetry can o0nly show my true form.
