I'm a seventeen year old girl that's been through a lot...I never realized that poetry truly was one of my only outlets. Normally, I'd just try to deal with it all myself or bottle it up inside and act as if the emotions and pain I felt didn't really exist. Now, seeing that I feel much better when I'm able to express these feelings, I tend to carry a pen and paper around all the time. Interesting, huh?
