A high school student that loves poetry and recently won a poetry contest that allowed me to see it used in a play by Buddy Hannah, it has blown me away and influnced me to continue, to show the world my work and my passion.
Flowers in the fall
Is like young love, at first they are crisp and luminous
Then slowly the flowers become brittle insecure of itself...
Terror struck the hearts of my fans
Unable to protect or defend
Just to stand and watch upon the empty stand
Seeing them scream and flee...
The young people
Out to enjoy the night
Sweating under blinding lights
Screaming for a glimpse of their hero
But with freedom comes...
