Zippo

Ecclesiastes 5:12

12 The sleep of the laborer is pleasant—whether he eats little or much—
but the wealth of the rich will not allow him to sleep.

Worth Zippo

Ring around your eyes ... I guess you did not sleep much.

Is it because of the thoughts of man or is your conscience at steak?

Is it the opinion of your fellow-man or the grieving of the Spirit

that keeps you from sleep at night and close to the “point of the break”?

What makes you feel so sad ... is it when you get caught

in the webs that you are weaving to secure your way of life?

Well, guy, we all have been there ... in actions and thought

and what we sowed we’d reaped in the remembrance of our wives.

Yes we will not escape it ... and the harm is always there.

Even when forgiven ... it stays a heavy load.

We think everyone knows where we stumbled and fell

but the Lord is very gracious as we’re oft the only ones to know.

Is it any wonder ... that He paid the price?

The price tag around our neck was closely marked to “Zippo”

But He paid a fortune ... beyond our understanding

and we wheel and deal ... mostly incognito.

Getting by does not make it right

and not being caught a blessing.

The road to hell is paved by self and

by greed for what you think is missing.
