Youth of today, why suffer

For things you cannot offer?

Why hide in pain and darkness

For the ease of your oppress?

The blows you take, another feels;

The truth you hide, another steals;

The cuts you make, another blames;

The food you eat, another shames;

Take blows – but don’t hide anymore:

See truth – and come of out the door:

Find release – don’t take blame, end your pain:

Eat food – and let yourself retain:

With pain and dark and blade and ache

You endure until you break

And fade to nothingness – till great

Society picks your date.
