Your Smile

My daily life is miserable.

9 to 5, 5 days a week.

The same boring drone

of the office fans.

And the flickering of the lights.

My eyes droop as my boredom grows.

But when the clock strikes 5,

I get the hell outta Dodge.

For I know that waiting for me,

Is you and your smile.

Your warms arms stretched out,

And a sparkle in your eyes.

All I need is the knowledge

That you'll be there waiting

For me to get home

And share a smile that's just for us.

All I need is your love.

All I need is your smile.
