Your Portrait

(I) saw you in my mind and I drew your portrait -

But I (couldn’t tell you), and so I kept it.

It’s the same thing (with words)..

(I) keep them, too.

I (wonder if you) see me in your mind:

But you can’t sketch (like) I can,

And I’m worried you’ll forget (me).
