Your Light in my Life

Location

Go outside! look at the bright world out there.

Feel the chill on your face, the cold wind in your hair.

Stand out in the open, study the sky's blue

a winter sun on my face, and I am with you.

In the strain of a January storm, nothing but this world of white

get lost in the midst of it all- your voice and everything's alright.

warm flannel sheets in my starlit room, you're away in your lone bed

talking to you before I sleep, like a shared pillow under our heads.

The way a fire lights a dark room,

the moon through my window bright

how a lamp illuminates a page-

that's how you fill my life with light.
