Your Hands

You stare at your wretched hands,

Blaming yourself for all the waste you threw into the ocean,

For all the animals you scared away,

And for all the flowers you crushed.

You stare at your gloomy hands,

Regretting the fires you created,

The food you wasted,

And for the clothing you stole.

You stare at your despicable hands,

Thinking of the mountains you destroyed,

The storms you started,

And for the air you polluted.

However I think your hands are rather beautiful,

Since they are a part of this planet that we love.
