Your Final Dance

Sat, 07/25/2015 - 01:43 -- SnowK

Your fading eyes grow cold and dark
As you grow weaker from the breaths
That quickly become fewer and fewer.
All the lies ever uttered,
Left behind in life that only now floats as
A memory to those who remain.

Your final dance in life has drawn to and end,
Though the music continues
To play through the lives of those
Who were along side of you, waltzing in this life.
Like the replaying of an old song that never fades.
It brings life to the surrounding atmosphere,
As your life's song plays through the old jukebox.

Your life inspired many,
And will never be forgotten.
As the breaths fade,
And the lights go out
The music played to your life's dance
Will continue to replay time and time again,
For those who reamain.
