Your eyes

The more I spend time with you
I see your eyes grow
They glow with this passion
I haven't seen eyes so kind in a long time
So sweet
So gentle
The truth is in your eyes
It scares me
To see eyes full of trust
Eyes that show what you truly feel
When you worry
When you're thinking something
When you want to say something
I don't usually look into people's eyes
I don't like to see the truth
I don't want to see the lies
I don't want to look and get my hopes crushed
But your eyes
They speak the words you want to say
Your eyes are the ones I've looked up to see in a long time
I don't do eye contact
But for your eyes
Your sweet kind eyes I'll make an exception
