Your Deep Love by Joshua

See my blindness and loneliness loving Father?
I search your voice and feel only stillness of the night;
I seek for answers of the troubles pounding my door.
Where are you, since I flounder and crawl on the cold floor?
Reaching out for the warmth of your hand, I find nothing.
None the less, even in my groping, I shall praise the essence of your name,
For faith will never leave me since it has never left you;
My father’s love is too strong to be torn away by lions.
Though death and destruction surround,
I know that your power will save me
And I will lie down on your soft pasture to hear the stillness of your voice
It is like a gentle stream coursing over smooth rocks;
Or a silent cool breeze before the sunsets in the west.
