You, you, and you

Tue, 08/21/2018 - 02:58 -- itsbyl

Cold, dark, pale days.
Fallings leaves and rainy fall.
Dry and snowy winter.

I sat in my cold room crying on my bed,
on my floor,
in my bathroom,
and everywhere else.

I cried in sadness and pain in front of you, you, and you.

You, who are SHS.
You, who are CCR.
And you, who are LDO.
I cried, but that was not the end of it.

Thank you for helping me be verbal about my feelings.
Thank you for helping me be verbal about my needs.
Thank you for helping me be safe.
If not for you, you, and you, I would not be here today.

Inpatient for five days and I was safe.
Safe from my own mind to only feel unsafe again...

I am thankful for you, SHS, and you, CCR, and you, LDO.
You all gave me the opportunity to grow as a human being, to cry, to live for another day.
I graduated because of you three. I graduated because you three made my days bearable.
I will never forget you all as you all are held in this important time frame of my life that is leading me to new beginnings,
as I close this chapter that holds you all...

Shout out to Barry Frantum.
