You Two Seem Very Busy

You two seem to be very busy

But always have time for me

Especially with problems

That I don’t understand easily

I know you have other kids

Waiting at your door

They seek the same help I need from you

As you helped them once before

As the school year nears to an end

And finals knocking at the door

The more that I need your help

I’m desperate even more

You sit me down and talk to me

Assuring me I am fine

I say it’s overwhelming

You smile and say don’t whine

Your patience is a virtue

Your voice is calm and clear

I’m glad I have you on my side

Everyday throughout the year

You’re so intense and embarrassing

When you’re cheering at my meets

You say “Go! Go!”I think “Oh No!”

Just glad you’re on your seat

You help me get through a lot

Teaching me how to be a lady

Shopping, makeup, fixing my hair

Showing me how to get ready

Mom and Dad I’m so lucky that

You two were always there

Maybe this poem of my appreciation

Will express how much I care
