You Don't Feel The Same About Me

A godsend boy and a angelic girl on a field

with nothing but promises of love and adventure.

The whimper of being chilly on the summer evening

was subdued by the rhythm of his mouth on hers,

thier hands intertwined with passion and visions of a future.

Two hearts pumping at the same beat;

two souls melting into the grassland .

7.53 billion people in the world,

and not a single pair of eyes can make

the Pennslyvania sky look dull at a time like this

except his pools of honey and amber,

staining her memory, being protected by his strong arms.

A million nights like this pass,

always bringing her the same excitement and joy

as the first one has,

keeping her up at night about how much they

have yet to share.

Decades to plan,

moments to experience,

memories to last her a lifetime.
