You Are Not One Person

I am still quite young

Yet am not untouched by age

And scarred by time passage

Or the secrets they tell

About for whom the bell may toll

And who you may become

One day when time is done

And lay down in the soil tonight

Imagine the loss of the blackbird

Or the end of the awakening

If the threads remain thin and tight

On a new path set the sight

And start to live

It is never to late or too early for it

As it is never too late for a sinner and sin.
