You are my strength

Thu, 01/16/2014 - 21:53 -- goeunc

The weary look in her eyes

His hair finally starting to gray

Is my dream school worth the price?

Their sacrifices are clear

No more downtime

My parents, to me so dear

Can I bear the guilt?

Painful to see them struggle

Losing the home they built

All they wanted was a better life

For my brother and I to succeed

Instead, a broken family and unhappy wife

I cannot let them down

Determined to make their pain worth it

I want to hear the sweet sound

Of their laughter and joy

No amount of gratitude is enough

You are my strength, Mr. & Mrs. Choi
