You and Me

You and Me

Let’s talk about you and me

Let’s look at how we could possibly be

I’m in the mood now

To talk about you and me

I think we’re good for each other

Yet, I still can’t tell

What do you think when you look at me?

I want to know those thoughts of yours

Let’s talk about you and me

How do you feel when I do my hair like this?

Me, I watch over everything you do

I wonder if you’ve become like that too

I feel dead and depressed when I haven’t seen you

Let’s talk about you and me

I wore this color because I know you like the neutral tones

Tell me, what are you thinking?

I want to hear you say it

It’s hard to read your face

Even when you’re touching me

I’d rather you say it in my ear

Let’s talk about you and me

There are eager voices lingering

I want to talk it out with you

I need to hear you say it

Please don’t ignore the issues

The ones which eat at me

Let’s talk about you and me

So we can achieve all we want to be.
