Like You and I

Every day I wake up sound

In bed, then rise, then walk around

Then grab my coffee, usually

Is anyone entranced with me?

Ordinary lives allowed

To stand among a blended crowd

So how come righteous privacy

Is shattered, come celebrity?

Tabloid presses bully, score

Normal humans at the fore

Prying into secret lives,

Libels thrown out cut like knives.

Nosing humans glue their eyes

Fast to their screens that broadcast lies

So how come "real" drama TV

Parades as if reality?

Actors, actresses alike

Cannot stage an attention strike

Even though they're pop, they feel

So let us end the gossip reel
