Yesterday was once a dream,

A memory of you,  just foreign gleam.

When looking into your eyes after all this time,

Like nothing has passed us by.

Questions still travel through my mind,

Like after everything, would you still be mine?

My heart swells as you look my way,

still able to take my breath away.

A small smile is painted across your face,

Is there room in your heart for me to once again take place?

Vivid images of you and I,

I still think about us all the time.

The laughter, the hugs, and your sweet undenying love,

Is there a chance to overcome?

What’s done is done,

No more to hug.

Our love is hung,

Yesterday has come and gone.
