Yep

I hear you on the radio, but you’re not singing any song

It’s just that music makes me think of you

In general

It’s dumb

I walk into the kitchen and see you jamming to your tunes,

But I gotta look away and eat some food

So you won’t see me

Noticing you

I think of how I touched you

In the darkness last night

The way you breathed

And smelled

And how we kissed,

The way our hands entwined

Sometimes we’ll be talking

About existence or our days

And I wonder why you stand so far away

Because it’s your nearness that I crave

Laying on your chest,

I like to feel you breathe

It reminds me that you’re here with me

And I can hear your heart speed.

When you catch my eye and smile

With your hair falling to the side,

I feel like I just ran a mile

Every time
