To Write the Future

When a word can make the difference

And a story can touch the heart

I want my work to be the perfection

That will turn the world to light.

Let my pen be the cure to all

Let my word count pay the poor

Let my message be instilled in all our hearts

And my job would be done.

I do not need a title

I do not need recognition

Let this movement soar

Guided by a faceless angel

Since it doesn't matter who leads

As long as the world becomes

A place for every child

To grow and meet true potential

Let my words etch the greatness of tomorrow

Let me be the nameless face

To which utopia is finally reached

And my job would be done.
