The Wounds From Words

Location

The broken bones,

from sticks or stones,

can be made right again,

But the wounds from words,

wished unheard,

never truly mend.

This harmful diction,

sadly not fiction,

does not need to be,

And through their elimination,

in every societal station,

the depressed would be made free.
