worthy of myself
You valued me
At much less
Than I am worth
And I myself
Believed you
As if you are the one
Who gets to determine
My essence
I treated myself
As if I was
Less than worthy
But I now realize
You are not the appraiser
Of my value
I am no relic
That can be priced
For I am priceless
I am a treasure
But not of a rare gemstone
But of a force of nature
A monument, a world wonder
The people around me
May marvel at my beauty
My grace, my majesty
But you cannot stick
A price tag on me
I am not to be sold
To any one man
