The World's Greed

With beautiful oceans and beautiful seas
Our home is full of life but thats not what we see
The greed for more is not what we need
However the want for more puts our mind at ease

Whenever we remember we are not alone
We can finally make this beautiful place a home
We conquer any place we roam
Yet forget that we are not alone

The blind lead the blind is a single file line
And the helpless can do nothing except fall in line
So who can change our mind in these harsh times
Or shall we just enjoy the present and pretend everything is fine

With beautiful oceans and beautiful seas
Someone has to protect them from the gluttony
Will it be you or will it be me?
