The World and My Country

*poetry rant*

Everyday people say we advance.

Kids get kicked out of school sponsored events because they can't participate on a Sunday for religious reason.

When have we started to kick people out based on religon?

I've haven't been able to participate in certain things either based off my religion.

People say we need to become better and work harder so we need more days to practice.

So we need more days to practice, yet there are people on the team who can't even accept one another.

Everybody wants more. People just want to satisify their needs,

which never stop growing.

It is hilarious actually and nobody has yet paused to watch this play out.

Then we can't even stop and take a look around.

We need to focus  on those around us first.

Teach those to not discriminate based on gender identity, race, religion, or anything that makes you, YOU.

We teach kids to practice harder and if they can't accept the fact that they have to work on Sunday (which in fact is a religous day for some people)

then they are considered not as athletic as other atheletes.

Why is it a thing to become more  "advanced" as a world, yet we can't love or accept others for who they are.

This world needs to understand.

Its funny because I just said the world needs to understand, yet what is the world made of?

Humans.

You are one so that means I'm talking to you.

It all starts with you.

Say no, stand up for those around you, be the leader.
