Word Search

Life is a giant word search,

With constant discoveries.

Anxiety, jittering through

My arms with each constant twitch.

Depression, draining the spark from

My once luminous eyes.

Tired, the fire of my will

Slowly being put out.

Fear is in everyone of our searches,

But it’s form is never certain.

All that is known is that it holds us back.

I look in the mirror and see

Determined on my forehead

But I also see fear across my neck.

In my hesitation I let fear

Become the enemy.

Now I let my determination

Make fear my friend.

With this new found strength

I strike the negativities from my search.

Now I wonder through the unknown

And let fear and determination guide me

Through my search called life.
